Flush Mount Screen Needed!

I recently got a quote from a custom fiberglass company that will flush mount my TM-701L 7" screen into my dash piece. They want to charge me $250 though.
I would do it myself but I don't want to mess up my nice new interior.

Can anyone here do this for me? I'll be willing to pay for it and all materials used plus your labor!

I have an '04 tiburon. PM me if you need pics of the dash.

$250 is cheap! I did my own but would pay $250 to have it done. Which company was it?

They do custom fiberglass work in cars. It looks like they do really good work but I just didn't expect to pay that much for a little fiberglass work.

He said that he would keep it all looking stock though. He would not have to move anything thats on my dash trim.

Glass workz is a really good company. I haven't personally seen any of there installs but I have seen pics and I ordered an advanced fiberglassing dvd from them and they know there stuff. $250 is good but if you have the skills to do it, obviously it would be cheaper. If you think you might mess it up then send it to them because if they mess it up they have to pay for a new one and if you mess it up then you will have to pay for it.

yeah, I guess I'll just shell out the cash. I was just checking here first to see if anyone here could do it for a better price.

A number of years back, I used to own a small composites manufacturing business, and although we specialized in advanced carbon fiber parts manufacturing, all of our prototyping was done with wet layup glass.; so let me tell you, $250 for a "one off" part like what you are wanting is an epic deal!!!

You best jump on that one fast, because at prices like that, I cant see how they can keep the lights on and their employees paid!

I'd do it for 150. Only problem with that is that I'd need the bezel that looks like it goes ALL the way around your dash. If you could find out how much that part is and include that amount of money with the payment for the fiberglassing, I'd gladly buy the part at a Hyundai dealer around here to save you, what I'd assume, is a lot on shipping.

As soon as DouggyDouggy gets the money I'm doing his in-dash mold for him. I'm going to post pictures of my intermediate steps of my molding my monitor into my dash later this evening.

Sounds good to me, I can send you my dash piece that I currently have. The problem is that you would have to relocate some of the buttons up top to fit it. PM me and we can discuss details.
