i just got done installing the touchscreen and did the setup. now the pointer is stuck in one spot on the screen. i can touch another spot on the screen but it only moves a little bit then goes back to that one spot. i hooked it up to my laptop and it did the same thing. what could be wrong.
Sounds like a resistance problem with the screen. Your computer may be reading a resistance equal to that point and when you touch another point it's not changing the resistance significantly to move the pointer. Check your connections, check your drivers, check your warranty, in that order.
make sure the touchscreen isn't touching the screen housing or anything... at least that's what it says in other threads with touchscreen problems, I wouldn't know cuz I don't have mine yet.
