did DigitalWW go bye bye?

Tried to call both of digitalww phone numbers today, both disconected. I have also emailed him in the past with a few questions about my 7in lcd vga with no response. Can anyone confirm this?

If your out there digitalww is there a driver that will not conflict with my opus shutdown controller? Also i have some noise on my screen, maybe ground noise, any suggestions how to clean it up?

Thanks All

chirowolf, remember me? haha

Remember what I said about saving $120 or whatever.

Well, I'm regretting that right now, let me tell you....

I just ordered two cameras from him on Monday and he and I sent quite a few emails back and forth in a timespan of 30 mins. Later that day I had a tracking number for package.

Just to let you know, that you LCD should NOT have anything to do with your opus power supply, other than to power it. Just hook up the possitive and negative to the opus, and when that starts up, your LCD should too...there are no special drivers...
you may need speacial drivers for when you get into windows for it to provide you with the resolution that you are seeking.

Thanks Bosstone74 for the info. What I ment to say is the Touchscreen driver for my display will not allow WinXP to go into standby mode. right now I power the Screen directly from the fuse box and not through the Opus power supply. As a update i did find a driver that allows me to manually select standby . but the opus does not enter standby when I turn off the car

Thanks Again

I'm not sure why you keep mentioning the Opus here! It won't have anything to do with a touchscreen driver problem...

That is true. but now, with the new driver, I can g into standby but the opus controler is not shuting down or going into standby. when I turn off the car the computer stays on with no change in state. I know it is probably something I am doing or in my setup. Im just not sure what

Thanks

But adding a new driver in windows won't affect the Opus! So you must have changed something in the wiring or something?? Have you checked if you're getting a sequence of fault lights on it?

Just to answer the first post in this thread:
I talked to Armen this afternoon. DigitalWW has a new phone number. The old numbers were disconnected.

Check the site for the new number:
http://www.digitalww.com/c5.htm

As a side note: people waiting for their DWW-7VGA in-dash units, give Armen a call. He's having trouble getting the touch screens to go with the Xenarc screen. So he offered to substitute Lilliput screens and touch kits. (which are in stock) The cool part is that they are even cheaper! Call him for pricing and availability.

Did DigitalWW go out of business or are they especially bad about fulfilling orders and replying to emails?

I ordered a touchscreen on March 12th. Over a month, still no touchscreen. There have been no replies to two emails.

I hate doing credit card charge-backs, but I'm running out of options. Has anyone had a recent positive experience dealing with them? Anyone have an actual working phone number of them?

Thanks!

I've not had much luck with them. Ordered March 2nd and got nowhere. The only thing they did was bill my credit card.
I've lodged a dispute with my bank. Maybe Visa will have better luck gettng a response

DigitalWW = Worst online vendor I have dealt with.
