Talking Question about LCD im sure someone will know

Hi there, well my install is done ,Toyota Celica GT ,1Ghz Duron ,DVD etc but i have a bug in my system ,my screen is cool in-dash and works fine but for some reason for the first say 10mins its in black and white and then starts flicking and then goes into colour. Its set to NTSC and so is the TV output from the PC so its not that and as regards temperature? well the screen has 2 inputs for a reversing camera and when on AV2 the screen is blue (as i don't use it) and thats when you first turn it on so if it can show blue screen straight away its unlikely to be temp, so as you can see i'm stuck i have no idea what to do next, but i have noticed if say i park up and come back to the car the screen still comes on in black and white but switches to colour in a quicker time? driving me nuts so come on people any ideas ?????

p.s i have tried a new AV cable not that either!

Helllp i have sort of the same problem i have eventually ironed most of my bugs out of my system now but i just upgraded to the lillyput touchscreen vga and for some reason it works fine on av mode allbeit a bit hazey but when i plug vga in it appears all redish and after about 10 mins or so it will flicker and go to the normal colours its a bit annoying as the screen is perfect apart from that has anybody else come across this type of problem.

any help would be grately appreciated thanx.
