Lilliput quality issues

I am about to execute on a lilliput touch tft, but have noticed a lot of posts in the forums that seem to reflect quality control issues. Posts about bent VGA connector pins out of the box, touch screens grounding out on the frame and not calibrating, etc. I know that their have been polls done in here in the past, and Im not asking for another one, but can someone who has been in these forums longer then I summarize what you have seen/experienced with these LCDs? Thank you.

There has been tons of talk about the lilliput and its quality issues. The best thing to do would be to search and read up. Other than that, the onlly thing i can say is after reading all the comments on this board about the lilliput, if you can live with any or all of the issues this screen can possibly have, then buy one. If not, then get something else.

I just opened my Lilliput about 20 minutes ago, literally. It is in perfect condition and the drivers installed flawlessly on XP Pro. Touchscreen works great and the picture looks great. Don't want to go on and on but I am glad I got the Lilliput.

i'm happy with mine so far, experimented with different resolutions and the touch screen works well although it needs a 25 point calibration done as mine was a 1/4 inch to the left of the cursor. Quality looks good inside and out and I am glad I bought the Lilliput over the higher priced Xenarc

I've had very few problems with mine. Nothing I couldn't fix in 5 min. anyway.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Like most things, you never hear people talk about them unless they are unhappy. Im glad to hear so many positives. Thanks everyone.

ditto, I haven't had a problem with mine, I think you only read about the problems, even though they are a small percentage of the screens shown. not everyone who is happy with it is going to make a new thread about it.

I had mine one month, used it maybe 3 times, and the touchscreen failed. Warranty was over.
