Display area of Lilliput 7in

Hey everyone.. First of all, Hello.. Im new

I am looking at buying a Lillput 7in monitor with touch screen. Im installing it in a 96 TransAm, which has a larger than DIN size radio (I think its din and 1/2)..

I was wondering, does anyone have the dimensions of the lilliput screen without its case?? The area I have to install it in is pretty tight, so I would have to take it out of its case.. I wanted to know the actually screen high and width in inches before buying it..

Thanks!!

Dimensions of LCD panel & touch panel = 169mm (W) x 106mm (H). The LCD controller board is slightly smaller.

Do thats the size of the screen after taking it out of the case??? Reason Im making sure is because the area I'm installing it in is VERY tight.. 106mm, is about 4.17 inches.. The height I have to work with is 4.25 inches..

Yes, this is the size of the touch screen and LCD panel after taking it out of the case. The size of the touch panel is also available from DigitalWW's site.

Bear in mind that you need about 2-3mm for the flex cable coming out of the touch panel. From the height that you have, its going to be a real tight fit.
