Unhappy digital ww tm701L flat flex

i need to get a replacement flat flex cable for my tm701L (the flat ribbon that connects to the carrige inside...
it has 11 wires in it, i think they are pitched at 1mm.

i emailed armen but no reply yet.
i would phone him, but im in the uk so $$.

just wonedered if anyone had a broken screen or somethin that they could get this cable from for me?

if not i may solder in some standard ribbon (but i dont wanna do this cus i am bad at soldering )

Try checking with your local electronics repair shops, especially those doing VCR repairs. I've seen these FPC cables in these shops before.

ok, thanks, i tried that, none of them had a clue. done a temp fix with some ribbon cable.
