I don't know I sent the seller a question e-mail but nothing yet, hopefully just because of the weekend What really worries me is that there is no such model on company site (but this was mentioned already). I think its just a lilliput in a different wrapper, but could be wrong.

The seller isn't expecting to get these in stock until today or tomorrow. At that point, he will contact me and set up the demo.

Headrest housing

Am I the only one that thinks the Headrest casing is cool? I made a custom mount for my Explorer using a headrest shroud and it was soooo easy. I just love the idea of molding the headrest shroud into the dash and then snaping in the monitor. Just less for me to screw up I guess. Anyways for me that is a huge factor.

It says "1 Headrest Shroud", but you need to realize the headrest shrouds weren't designed to work with every LCD, so this LCD probably won't snap into the shroud you have molded into your Explorer.

Oh..right...I'm with you. I was just saying that I have done an in-dash before with my explorer and it was a pretty easy because the 5" screen had a headrest shroud. Thats what I like about this new screen, it has a shroud for it.

Do the headrest mounts usually have some kind of plug for the RCA/VGA/Power cables where you can quickly remove it like a detachable head unit face, or does each cable plug in separately?

The one I installed had one main plug that branched out into power/sound/video...plus you could quick detach as the one main plug came in two parts...a short cable conected to the back of the monitor..and the extention that branched off into the different cables.

The following text is straight from the auction: "Please allow up to 10 days for order processing after payment is received." I think that leaves him plenty of time to get them in stock.

Perhaps he has stocked them before? Perhaps he has seen a prototype? I don't really know. I'm just relaying what he said to me. Maybe the whole thing is a scam. Maybe it isn't. As of right now, I have no reason to either believe or doubt him. Nothing will change, until I see the screens for myself.
