I think I've killed my Lilliput!! Please Help

I've spent the last week making a surround to fit the screen in my dash.

As the screen had been apart for a week, I thought it would be a good idea to make sure it worked before putting it all into my car.

I connected all the internal cables, and powered up.
The blue LED on the front came on, so I pressed the power button, nothing happened!
So I (STUPIDLY) dissconnected and reconnected the cable for the buttons while it was powered up.

The power light went out!!!
And I cannot get it back on.

Have I killed it???
HAs anyone else experienced this??

In some of these monitors, the ribbon cable was slightly smaller then the actual plug. The ribbon cable is the one that connects the buttons with the controller. For example the plug has 14 pins and the cable is 13 pins. If it is not aligned properly then you will not get it to power ON. I believe it should be aligned to the left.

I don't know if this is what your problem is but definitely check it out.
