Computer takes long to post w/lcd? I tried but found nothing its a hp xe743 if i remove my 4x20 lcd it posts really fast 3 seconds but with the lcd it takes 40 seconds! I already tried changing bios settings for parallel port nogo, any help?
Doh! I forgot to diconnect the cdrom cable when i had disconnected the power connector to get the 5volts for the lcd and that caused it to take long posting. I am now using a more practicle usb cable to get the 5 volts since usb can handle up to 500ma.
