Any VW MKIV owners mount their Xenarc 700ts in place of the factory radio?

I'm waiting on my parts to arrive to scope this out, but I was curious if anyone has already tackled this. I plan to pull out my double din factory Monsoon head unit and run the PC directly to the factory amp in the back. Has anyone tried mounting the 700ts in that space yet? I'm not sure what the fit is, but if nobody's tried it, I'll at least give it a whirl when mine arrives. I'm looking for any tips or recommendations that you may have.

I read somewhere that the monsoon head unit actually does some pre-amp. You may want to search about that before you replace it.

i think (its been a while now) that the vw radio is like the blaupunkt radio (maby the higher end blau) has the same connectors in the back that if you can fing the plug that has the rca jacks i wanna say its a square plug that is brown that goes to rca plug it in and move your deck to the rear of the car and plug your comp audio out into it
