What are the options for LCDs?

Do we have a choice of two manufacturers for the LCDs (Xenarc and Lilliput)? Is there anything else? Can someone recommend a place where I can maybe get a panel/ts/vga controller and not loose all my money? It has to exist, lilliput does not manufacture anything from what I understand, except for case and badge (is that correct?).

Or is it really cheaper to rip apart a lilliput? And put it in my own casing? Does this void the warranty on the unit?

Come on, someone should have this info? If there is a thread with this info, I can't find it, because all the threads keep referring to Xenarc and Lilliput as if there is no other option out there.

What worries me about that monitor is that it is nowhere to be found. Its not on www.starvision.us, and I don't even know what starvision is, except that one of their models looks waaaay to much like a lilliput - http://www.starvision.us/SP-7VGA.shtml .

Plus what I would really like to find is a panel and vga controller kit or separate with touchscreen or once again separate, so I can put it in my custom made casing, and not null the warranty by ripping apart a premade monitor.

I was also asking what other options are there besides the Xenarc and Lilliputt.

I have found another 7" touchscreen USB VGA screen on the http://www.cartft.com site although it looks suspiscously like the lilliputt, does anyone know if it is the lilliputt and does anyone have good or bad things to say about it ?

on the digitalww site they do have a kit, screen touchscreen, controller etc etc all as components

CarTFT LCDs look like lilliput and Xenarc screens depending on what picture you look at. I am not even sure what the case is going to say when you order it.

I saw that kit on digitalww, however its a little too much for what it is. And logically if digitalww is selling them, so should someone else. I am not trying to infringe on digitalww business, its just that kit is too expensive for what I need, and since most likely I will need several....
