Lilliput not working.. Please help..

I just got this lilliput monitor with vga input and touch screen... I got the touchscreen to work on my regular computer monitor.. and it also shows an image if I hook it up through the video input.. but I cant get the vga input to work.. if I hook it up the image of my desktop will show for a second then go off it says no signal and it keeps blinking that way... is there something im doing wrong?? the screen cant really be defective because again it worked through the video input... but I need the vga input to work. either im missing something or the connection for the vga input is defective.. are there any know issues with these lilliput monitors??? please help..

WOW......if you do a search for known issues, you will be reading for a while...

I would say double check the video settings, lilliputs are very sensitive to screen size and frequency. Do a search and see what people are using for resolution and see if that helps.

Me too...

I have exactly the same problem with my Lilliput. I'll have a go with the frequency and resolution and post the results. Fingers crossed, it'll work with a bit of tweaking...

Cheers,

Make sure that its connected securely first off. I know I know. Your saying to yourself how could you miss something like that. But you would be suprised how many times that happens. Check the simple stuff first.

Yeah...

I've made sure that the cable is securely connected at both the LCD and the PC. I have also checked the continuity of the cable, from the din to the VGA. The cable is fine, but obviously this doesn't check either the quality of connection or the continuity of the LCD din cable.

Thanks,

If you are using Epia-M(x) onboard video, make sure you have LCD value selected for "video output" option in your BIOS. In any case, hook up ordinary CRT on your VGA, boot the destop and change resolution to 800x600/60 Hz. Your Lilliput should handle that. it will not handle anything higher than 1024x768 and/or 75 Hz refresh.

okay I tried that.... but the only frequencies I have available on my pc are 60 and 75hz... I tried them both at 800x600 and 1024x768 those are the only two display settings I have available... it will show the no signal screen then it will blink off... sometimes it shows the desktop for a second and blinks off. I think it was on the 1024x768 settings that it blinked the desktop.. Im frustrated because I cant tell if its a hardware problem or a problem with my settings... I wish I knew for sure... I also checked all the wires and they are all connected tightly... any more advice???
