In-dash lilliput

How to read lilliput in-dash screen motors:

If the motor rattles it is most likely that the gear axle in gearbox is bent and gears are skiping.

800X480 on Lilli 619

This is out of left field but I thought it belonged here...

For those people who are modifying the ini file for their Intel onboard graphics drivers to display 800X480 here is the DTD string I used. The first numbers are the refresh rate and you may have to tweak those...

4C 1D 20 FC 30 E0 14 10 20 38 37 00 00 00 00 00 00 1E

Also, here is a driver that works at 800X480 and my Lilli 619 on an Intel G965 series motherboard:

Does anyone have current lilliput drivers? links are dead and I can't find the disks that came with my 8 inch screen.

Thanks,

OK got my 2008 Lilliput 629 today, must say it is awsome. Did the reprogramming mod and I couldnt be happier.
Bright, oh yeah.
In sunlight, no problem. Really. I was using a 7" phylon/t-view and sunlight killed it prety much. Now it is like night and day. Not the transreflective either. Couldnt even imagine how good that must be.
Just thought I would tap in with my comments on the new screen.
One happy camper....

Lilliput 10.4 Wiring -- How the Touchscreen Wires Connect

If you've uncased your Lilliput 10.4", Model 1042, I could use some help. In disassembling mine, I accidentally (violently) detached the four small wires that appear to be for the touchscreen. They look undamaged. There are two yellow wires and two black wires. I need to reassemble the plug they go into, and wonder if anyone can tell me which wire goes where. Here's a picture of the wires -- in order as they come off the board -- plus the two plug components, plus the board they plug into.

Click on the image to enlarge it.

EDIT: I got this answer elsewhere in the LCD/Display forum, so I've included it here in the FAQ:

Thanks, GiODi. I'll just hook it up as pictured and test it out.

Auto switch feature in some new Lilliput screens

I think it is very important info and it deserve to be placed here. It seems that some new 2008 lilliputs have auto switch feature, which is very useful when you have for example rear view camera. This feature can be simply activated in menu. But it is not clear why some of new 2008 screens have this feature while the others don't... The subject definitely needs some more investigation. More info can be found here:

Hey.

I was working on my CarPC project and I accidentally put pressure on one of the components of the main board of the Lilliput. I need to figure out what to replace it with. Trouble is that I moved in the meantime and I can't find the actual broken piece, but hopefully someone can tell me based on the images below. The missing part was an inductor, the bottom of which is still attached to the board.

Any info would be appreciated. The part is labeled 2L06.

It looked like this:

Anyone know the specs for it or some idea of what to replace it with?
