Lilliput Over Range!?

Hey!

Once again a problem with my Lilliput 7"

Few days ago i had some problems with my PC (Epia-M, TravlaC134, 512MB, 40gB.... ), so i decided to install the system new.

ok, so far so good... the system runs! Yesterday i wanted to take back the PC in the car. But when i boot/start the computer, the lilliput shows only "OVER RANGE"

The graphic card runs 800x600 @ 60Hz. Before that also works.
So i took the PC once again out, to controll the settings on an other screen. 800x600@60Hz.... all correct. Bios-Settings of the Screen also 800x600 using CRT+TV

In the OSD of the Lilliput, theres the INFORMATION-Function of the Screen.
There i can see, that the Screen is running at 1600x1200

There the Signal comes from?

tia,
guvi

I had a similar problem also. Only OVERRANGE then only more NO SIGNAL. Tried out on different PC's, on which it before still functioned.... I sent back the display to digitalww and now i get a new one.

So you get the 'Over range' message as soon as the car computer turns on, you don't even see the bios screen?

Make sure you have "LCD" option selected in your Epia BIOS under the "Advanced chipset/Select display device" menu.
Let me know if it solved your problem.

>>Make sure you have "LCD" option selected in your Epia BIOS under the "Advanced >>chipset/Select display device" menu.

IŽll try to configure this setting in the bios.

Definitelly do so. I believe it will solve your problem. of course to be able to do so you will need to hook up CRT temporarly.
