Hi there,

i have a car PC built ready to go in but recently quite warmed to idea of the motorized. Was quite reluctant to go motorized at first, more to go wrong etc etc but could be cool. just dates just keep getting pushed back and back

would you guys wait or go with the DWW-7VGA?

also do the latest DWW-7VGA use the newer 'upgraded backlight' xenarc panels or the older ones?

i had waited and waited for the motorized in-dash to become available and finally redesigned my system to use an LCD mounted in the dash instead....

if you really want in-dash pop out you could go with the non-motorized version at www.digitalww.com or i think he even has directions on the site about how to convert one of the standalone LCD's to non-motorized in-dash....

i just decided i didn't want to wait, i guess it just depends how patient you want to be....

yeah i think ill just get the pop out one.

ANyone know if it uses the newer xenarc screen tahst advertisted on xemarcs site as 'uprated backlight' and brighter or the older one.?

Just that in the pics on DWW website it looks soooo dull compared to the lilli, but then that xenarc was the blue buttoned xenarc (old one) not new BRIGHTER black buttoned one.

lol posts from the past i was young and naive.

Well ive got a DWW-7VGT. got sick of waiting for the motorised one. Im quite happy with it. A few little niggles but overall im quite impressed. Its fairly bright. Its good at night and OK during the day. Touchscreen works well. I may do a full review if i can be assed but weel see.
