lilliput unregulated

allright, i have my lilliput hooked up to my amp, wires, so it is technically connected to the battery, i get a lot of the jurassic park type of activity, going on, is it because it is an unregulated source. Also, i have been reading the post's and some people have really dim screens, people complain that they need sunglasses at night, well my screen isn't all that bright, could it be because i am using the little egg, device, to the cigarette lighter, and it isn't regulated, i checked the setting on the lilliput they are at 100% for brightness and contrast, i also changed the gamma settigs, in the display, post up some numbers you guys use for the gamma, contrast and brightness in the vga card settings.

Feed it 12V from the PSU if you can.

Yellow is +12v and the black directly next to it is the -12V. The other red and black are the + and - 5V. Don't think it would help the brightness and not sure on the wires on the Lilliput.

so i should hook it up to the yellow and the black, and find out the polarity on the lilliput, do you beleieve it will help the dimming, evertime the bass hits or the fans kick on the lilliput dims, so i believe the c134 has a regulator built into the psu, so i should give it a nice clean signal.

FIND OUT THE POLARITY FIRST!!!! You could fry the thing.

Sounds like you need a better charging system if you lights are dimming during hard bass.

i think any car will dim whe hard bass hits, i have a capacitor back there to help regulate, and it helps tremendously, i have a 100 amp alternator, and when i check the power in the back, i usually get 14.1-14.2,
