Thanks Mike! The Lilliput uses the small footprint Hitachi panel. The only one I could really fit in my car, so actually getting a Xenarc is out of the question for me. So is it a newer Panasonic panel that's brighter or a clearer touch screen? I still don't get it! Really, my interest is in hopefully adapting that to make mine brighter in the day and doing something to make it darker at night.

I got a 700TSV from onehitwonders a couple weeks ago. The touchscreen was messed up though, not holding/recognizing calibration. I sent it back to Xenarc (direct to Xenarc, onehitwonders is an authorized dealer), and they replaced the screen, got it back a week after I sent it. New one works great, clear and bright. TS works perfectly. Can't wait to get it into the dash, and not clamped to the cupholder. I need that cupholder.
Even been toying with the idea of getting a 700YV, mounting that in the dash, and putting the TSV closer to my leg. In the van, I still have to reach like a whole 6 inches to the center of the dash. It would also be a better viewing angle.
Oh yeah, and the cable is about 4-5ft long.

vanman, how was the 700TSV packaged when you first received from onehitwonders? Was it sealed? or opened by onehit already?

I ordered mine from onehitwonders a week and a half ago and it was all sealed up and then in a brown bag. Or maybe it was the other way around...oh well, it was well taken care of. I had no problems with shipping and no problems with the screen. It looks great in my blazer except when in direct sunlight but I can't even read my deckwhen its in direct sunlight. I would highly recommend them.

wyckyd, thanks. I ordered mine through them as well. I am expecting it tomorrow.
the only thing is, when we are not at home, the UPS guy always throws the packages in to the balcony 2nd floor. I wonder how he knows if the item in is fragile or not. Never received any fragile item yet, we'll see tomorrow

actually its not that bad except for the silver he should have painted black. ill try to take some pics of my monitor setup. i had the installer tear apart the pixelon, relocate the control pad to the top of the SoS navpod and cut out button holes. came out pretty good. not 100% perfect, cost me $200 but i guess it was good enough. for the $200 though i could have bought the friggin xenarc and it would have fit almost perfectly.

I'll be damned, I'm not the only one? I'm installing the pc in my xterra first. I want to get everything figured out before I put the NSX under the knife. I'd like to put the screen where the current radio/tape deck is. I'm not very enamored of the SoS nav pod.
So please do post your pics, I'd love to see them! I won't get around to my NSX install until this fall at the earliest.

Does anyone know if this new Xenarc can be fitted into DigitalWW"s in-dash housing?

It can be i asked Armen , he said
The panel that I use in DWW-7VGA are the old 250 nit panels. I inquired about the brighter from the manufacturer and it would raise the price by $40. DWW-7VGA is already priced at $530 and adding $40 will just be to much.
so he can if you ask. I will do this if i cannot get the motorized

$570 eh... that is a lot, even with the decent UK->US exchange rate...
Thanks for the info - will have to think about it.

Hey robr! Thanks for the link. I pretty much only read the Technical and DIY forum on nsxprime, so I totally missed the carpc discussions in the stereo forum. Just what I need, another forum to keep up with
And just to keep from hijacking the thread: I ordered my Xenarc from onehitwonders about a month ago. It was $480 shipped, arrived in a week with no problems. I'd call it sunlight barely readable. But then I can't read anything on my dash in either car (NSX and xterra) in direct sunlight anyway. It's legible when shaded.
