Help !!, Lilliput In Dash Convert gone wrong

Hi all,

this is my first post here so hope it all makes sense.

got my in dash housing from armen and set about the conversaion, all seemed to go well until i hooked it back up, power on fine, Av 1/2/vga switch changes through the options, on screen no signal and menu all work fine.

But it wont show any pictures , always gives no signals av1, av2 or VGA, i di not cut off the usb ;/ vga wires i simply cut them and re joined them so did not solder any of their points on the board, only solderd on the wires for the front switch and power / av1 /av2 wires.

Chips on the controller are getting warm so they seem to be getting power ok, back light is on and as i say get on screen display so cant figure it out.

any help MUCH MUCH appreciated, if not guess its another Lilliput !!!

Laidback is right. It is probably a ribbon cable. Playe with them until you get a picture. Try inserting it all the way to the left side...then the right side.

Thanks guys,

already tried all the cables, the only two cables are the main feed to the screen and that is fine because of the on screen messages which are generated by the controller so that one is fine, have tried to insert it again and again no change (just in case). Only other is the small one that goes to the touch screen controller and that makes no difference to the video input signals.

checked power and video connections i solderd with a meter and all are definatly getting through, certainly to the next component or connection in the circuit.
