VGA to TV

i been tring to find a tv out converter for my laptop with not much luck
then i came across this page

has anyone seen or made one of these??

it looks very cheep to make so i might make one for test purposes... and it will be a bonus if it does work

this circuit converts it to a scart connections..
and i will need a single rca video connection

does anyone see a problem if i just get a scart - rca adapter?

I have a vga to ntsc conveter. It ouputs in Svga or 1 RCA connector. Max resolution is 640x480. It dervives power from the PS2 port. Cost is $20 delivered anywhere.

Unfortunately this circuit (http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/...tv/circuit.html) will not convert from VGA to composite (rca connection) video. It converts from VGA to component RGB. I suggest you look for a comercial scan converter.

yeah dam i just figured that out..
i've built it.. and i was just ocnnecting the pins from the vga plug to the scart plug and realized that it wouldnt work

dam, thats what u get for trying.
