Okay which is better. Lilliput or xenarc?
I can not seem to choose which of the 7'' screens is a better screen. I hear good and bad on both.

Which is better, Red or Blue?
I think jusatry's point was that this has been discussed MANY times already with no clear conclusion given. If you're interested in the pros and cons, do a search.

Well the xenarc floats better, but when you light the lilliput on fire, you get a much more colorful flame.

had this same problem and in a nutshell the NEW xenarc (current model) is better.
- Good brightness night/day not blinding like lilli @ night
- No burned in image, its not burn in but transistor memory and lilli panels WERE used on gambling machines and DO have a jurassic park image appear from time to time
- Good quality, no issues with touchscreen
- Stable Drivers
- Good support/warrenty
Lilli is a good low cost option though. Panel is slighty better, but its just a shame its USED

I'm tired of hearing this, yes it occurs but it is NOT transistor memory. The image is stored in ROM. It is not transistor memory.

Thanks rando - exactly.
Xenarc costs the most, lilli is cheaper and this new starvision is cheaper. Xenarc is "said" to be better quality, but maybe we hear less issues about it because more people think it is too expensive and buy lilli's? I had a lilli and it worked fine (till i took it apart, now it has all sorts of issues ). The Jurrasic park thing just comes up when the screen cannot display what it is getting (over range, while booting windows 2k sometimes) in my experience. So are you willing to take a risk, get a cheaper screen which needs to be returned to HK to be serviced (PM gospeed.racer about that)? Or do you want the comfortable assurance that GAIN's US importer will handle your problem but pay between 100 and 200 dollars more for it?
ITS YOUR CHOICE - BUT THE INFO IS OUT THERE.

There's another thread addressing this exact issue between Lilliput/Xenarc (both new/old models)
I have posted in there that I will be hooking up all three together, and taking photos/comparisons of them together within a few weeks (depending on when I get my new display from Xenarc).

Xenarc sounds a whole lot cooler to say that Lilliput...
Think about it, and the decision becomes clear! ...
Situation #1:
You :"I've got a Xenarc!"
Friend: "Wow! That sounds so futuristic and complex! You're my hero!"
Situation #2:
You: "I've got a lilliput..."
Friend: "What the heck is a lilly put? Don't go around telling the guys about that!"
You: "... No! It's a... "
Former Friend: "... Hey man, your business is Your business..."
You: "... man, I should'a bought a Xenarc"
Friend: "A Xenarc! That sounds so futuristic and complex! If you would have gotten that, you'd be my hero!"
Any questions?
