DWW-7VGA: Just got it, but no instructions!?
Well, I just got my DWW-7VGA, but it didn't come with any instructions
How do I power this guy? I got the set of cables with with the filter on it, but it's not quit making sense to me...does it get power through the RCA cables?
I e-mailed armen for the instructions, but you know, it takes him a bit of time to get back to people.

Tis easy, just add +12v to the red cable and gnd to the black cable.
Will power up on getting a VGA signal or via the front panel...
What could be simpler...

The fact that the red/black cables came on a bunch of chords seperate from the DWW-7VGA, That have the red/black power wires, but then 2 RCA cables and an S-Video cable and that's it.
The only wires coming out of the DWW-7VGA are the VGA/3 RCAs/Svideo/USB. Hopefully that explains my delima a litte clearer. Hopefully somebody with a DWW-7VGA will be able to answer my question.

If I remember correctly, it doesn't come with a power cable. You need to get a 2.5mm "co axial" connector, and some wires, and make the connection yourself. If you go to a radio shack, they have plugs for you to try to check for proper zise, and then you can buy the connector, and they have wire for you.
The connector is on the VGA controler, right below the multiu connector used for the USB and VGA connections.

WiredWRX, that sort of defeats the purpose of having it prebuilt by Armen vs buying a screen and an indash kit.
I know for a fact a few people have this monitor.... only if could get a little help.

I am not totally sure what you are asking, it sounds as if you have the wires..and as per Armen's reply this previous post they should be there and ready to put power to. I dont have one, but I have been eyeballing the installs people have been doing with these.

OK, well, it looks like the device is powered the the svideo connector. Since it the monitor doesn't have s-video on it (only vga and 2 rca's) it makes perfect sense now. Thanks for the help again Speed.
