Just to clear a couple details up for you guys:
I have two of the Lilliput TM-701L In Dash units from DigitalWW. The spring that pushes the screen out, only pushes it out far enough for you to get a hold of it, then you have to pull it out and flip it up. I've had mine for a couple months and they are still pretty stiff. Also, you have to be careful putting the unit back in because you may bind up the cable between the screen and the hing hardware. It can be tricky at times, and other times it no sweat. I am at the point where I will probably leave the screen out unless I have a good reason to stow it. It's just a P.I.T.A. thing, not something you'd want to do everytime you get in and out of your car.
Also, the unit is 1 DIN sized. Let me warn you, if you have after market head units or other gear installed, DIN is NOT the same exact measurement as ISO. I had to do some fab work on my dash mounting bracket to make it fit. I had to put washers around my head unit wo it could mount in the same bracket with the TM-701L. The TM-701L front face barely fits thru the dash opening - it is very snug, and in my case made reassembling the dash a lot of work.
I'm not baggin on the unit, I just remember I would have rather know what I was getting into before I purchased.
