Fuzzy output using long VGA cable...

I have my Starvision LCD hooked up temporarily to a 25' VGA shielded cable and the 6' VGA cable which came with it. This is like 31' total. Is this too long? Is this why it looks fuzzy?

The shileded 25' VGA cable is run through my dash, down my door sills, and into my trunk. Could it be interference? It's running on the opposite side from my 4awg power cable and other cables, but I'm thinking there might be some electrical cable in my door for factory stuff anyways (fuel pump, etc..)

*shrug*

Any ideas?

Trouble shoot, move the cable somewhere else and see if the problem still occurs, try right down the middle of the car(not in anything, just to see if its still fuzzy) Another thing could be incorrect resoultion, wrong drivers(using wrong sync range), too close to a magnetic field....and thats all i can think of right now ;x

Also check where your entension cables meet. I had a similar problem with my lilliput and my extension cables and one of the ends were not connected all the way. Hope it works out for you.

Try attaching the monitor directly to the pc. Eliminate the 25' cable all together. If the problem is still there, you know its the monitor or drivers. If the problem is gone, you know its the connectors, cable itself, or the total length of cable.
