Lexus ES 300 with GPS, can i use this screen for other things?
I looked around ehre a little but couldn't get an answer.
My family has an 02 or 03 ES 300 with a the DVD Voice Navigation that has a small but nice screen placed in the dash. I was wondering if I could hook this up to an xbox, dvd player, or even a computer. My parents will let me work on it but I want to make sure it's possible before I take the car apart. Also, where would you expect the connection cords to be? I assume that they may be in the trunk because thats where the gps unit is.
My second question is there any way to trick the gps into staying on all the time, every time we turn on the car it asks if you agree not to use it while moving and it is a stupid annoyance that you have to waste a second or two hitting the i agree every time you turn on the computer.
