PSU to EGG to LILLIPUT ?

How do you connect the egg to the psu (via a molex-connector) to power a lilliput?

Ive searched and found that it should be the yellow and black wires of the molex (psu), but I dont know which of the two wires from the egg should go to which?

MOLEX - EGG
------------------------
Black - Black
Yellow - Black/White

..or..

Black - Black/White
Yellow - Black

Thanks

You should bypass the egg and connect the Lilliput directly to the PSU. The +12V from the PSU is regulated so there's no need for the egg. Plus the Lilliput egg has a dropout voltage of about 1.5V so you actually get 10.5V on the Lilliput if you connect the egg to the PC's +12V output.

Ok, so I could just cut the plug off an old adaptor, and connect the two wires to the psu.
But which is the plus and which is the minus of the yellow and black wires of the psu-molexes? I still have to get the polarity right, right?

I believe the center connector on the egg is the positive and the outer connector is the negative(I take no responsibility if I'm wrong). But you can check by taking a multimeter and sticking it into your cigarette lighter.

Ok, Ive got it working. The black/white cable is the positive, and the black is the negative. On the psu, the yellow is the positive and the black is the negative.

Thanks

Red Wire: 5V
Yellow Wire: 12V

After my lilliput egg regulator got fried, What you are doing is what I did.
I have been testing it for about a week and it works ok
I have Morex Car Power Kit(60w) installed so I can have only one cigarette adapter to power carputer, lcd and my Belkin TuneCast II wireless FM Transmitter at the same time.
