New Problem with Lilliput Screen!

I have sucessfully used my lilliput in my car setup since November and worked perfectly and now since it has gotten hot in boston my lillput does not respond very well to touch....I have to push hard and sometimes it does not even register....I rechecked all the connections and they look good and I also unplugged other USB devices still no luck. The computer seems to run fine, it just seems the touch screen is not working! Does temperature / humidity affect the lilliput's touch response, or am I overlooking something. Thanks in advance.

Today after a heavy rain the screen works fine........therefore I think the effectiveness of the touch screen is directly related maybe to humidity and not so much temperature.....I guess it works based on resistance and maybe the humidity screws up the sensor.

that makes no sense, after heavy rain the humidity would be high. resitance is more likely to change according to temperature rather than humidity. But i doubt its either.

nah, right after a heavy rain all the water has unloaded from the air....so the humidity drops.....the temperature drops also, but if ppl are using it in phoenix at 113 degrees than i doubt its the temp.

It is the heat.May people have experienced this and posted on theis board...

Your touchpannel is becoming unglued from the LCD due to heat. Take a close look at it. Does it appear to be comming off?

You may need to order another touch panel and replace it. DigitalWW has direct replacements for a decent price.
