ibm thinkpad lcd screen

can it be used with a different computer? for what im looking for that looks perfect, i wont need the casing, i want to flush mount it with the dash, and make a custom bezel. im open to any ideas.

Sanyo, Sony and NEC are three companies that make screens for a lot of laptops so it may fit others. What laptop are you trying to put one in?

im not. im asking if it can be hooked up to a pc, and work as an in-dash monitor.. i guess it doesnt have a usb, but maybe there is a converter or something for it?

To hook a laptop display up to a normal PC requires an expensive video card designed for it. Its cheaper to buy a standard LCD monitor designed for a pc.
