You read all that in 4 mins...
I only have the Lilliput, and comparing it against my LCD's in my home office this is what I would say:
I have a Samsung 191T and a Samsung 213T, both of which I think are the dogs bollocks when it comes to LCD's. I bought home a bunch from the store, tried them all for a few nights and took back the ones I didnt like.
The lilliput isnt as bright (duh), not is it as sharp, *however* I am running it 800x600 which is not the native LCD resolution, so its not really a fair criticism, except that the drivers for the M10000 motherboard dont yet support the native resolution, so that might be something you have to live with.
The lilliput is bright, clear and fast. The touchscreen is responsive and the appearance is fine. I am not a fan of the silver look the Xenarc sports.
So is the Xenarc worth another 60% or not? I cannot say unless I pick up one of these, but if you get the Lilliput you'll be quite happy.
I have to worn you though, this kind of question is likely to get polarized comments, Remember in the car, the dynamics all change, you will have to worry about things that are usually not so important, like scratch resistance of the screen, reflectivity in sunlight, angle of view maybe, if you mount the display on a flat dash, you will be looking at it at an angle... There isnt any such thing as a best monitor, its like saying which is the best CPU to get.
Get the lilliput, and spend the difference on a bigger harddrive...

My response is little different i would say the complete opposite i own a lilliput which when i recieved it after 2 months of waiting i was over the moon, it looked great it felt great i couldnt wait to try it out , so i got it all wired up an it looked brilliant a few little problems getting the touchscreens drivers to work as the cd i was supplied with was corrupt so i had to download the drivers from other sources. i was really happy with the screen untill i saw my mates xenarc it made my lilliput look stupid! the xenarc is brighter (Anti glare coating can be see in the sun light so much better) much better looks the casings blend in with the dash boards of most cars a hell of a lot better than the lilliputs casings and best of all ive noticed that the xenarc doesnt show up finger prints as bad, weird!, as for clairty the xenarc wins with greater definition and brightness, as for the cost this is the major issue the lilliput will impress you and make you think "Money well spent" the xenarc alough 60% more in cost says one thing "You get what you pay for" Hope this helps

Lets call it skim reading, I read one post and get the idea from one person, then quickly go on to the next, I just need the basic conclusion from each post. It seems the lilliput...is exactly that a lilliput. Im going to get a xenarc, in black which will be out next month according to the Xenarc sales team. but thanks for the input, it saves me alot of time.

Thanks, I'll get one of these new ones (I need black too) and give them a side-by-side comparison.
I found that the power supply makes a huge difference to the display, was it just that the Xenarc was better or maybe better powered, in a darker environment etc etc.
I think one big factor would be the ability run either in its native resolution. Maybe the Xenarc is better when running not in the native res.

mobileh1,
The screen that Danceheaven saw was mine. I have had both installed in my car, both running the same software, with the same graphics card, at the same resolution, on the same power supply (regulated 12V from my Opus).
I need to take my screen out my car soon (am re-doing my install anyway) so I shall borrow Danceheaven's Lilliput also, and do a side-by-side comparison, running them at both 800x600 and 800x480 (will use a different graphics card than the Epia onboard gfx)
