Another problem with 7" Liliput

Have have the adaptor live without the monitor on for overnite.
The next morning, the monitor didn't response even with power on. No light, no sign of power. If I plug in the d/c supply, there was a small high frequency noise fromt the machine. Can anyone one suggest what's the possible problem? and how could I fix it???
