Stupid Display Cable Question

Tried ing (Love that smiley!) but got all sorts of erroneous results.

Is it OK for a VGA cable to run from the boot to the dash? Won't the picture end up distorded/degraded? Or would it have to be in something like a limo for this to be a worry?

I don't see why not...There's plenty of people here that extend their video cable to get from the boot to the dash.

What most people will encounter is the power switch for the PC...extending this too long would make the switch useless.

Mine is about 12 to 13Ft from the boot to the center console. No issues.

just get a good quality cable and keep it away from other wires, especially the power line to your amp/pc

i have found the cables at www.l-com.com to be 1st rate
