Exclamation psone lcd direct powering

hello boy! my carputer or I think "Fiat Panda Puter" hehe is still on work,

I made starfox vga mod to the original sony lcd and I wanna use than in my car but I wanna also powering that directly from the 12v battery..

how I can reduce the 12 volt to 7,5 with 3 ampere?

Sorry for my bad english..remember that I have a FIat hihii

If possible, buy one of those cig adapter for about $10 new at GameStop or any game place. Otherwise you have to make a power supply for it. I think 1.5A is good enought.

I don't think 1,5a it's enough becouse on the 220v original power supply of the display there is written 7,5v at 3a

i think now build a simple circuit with an integrator called LM150

True, but that powers the psone too normally.

I check earlier today. The cig adapter for my PSOne LCD stated 7.5V@1.5A.
If you can, bigger is always better

I think the best solution is a DC-DC converter module like this . These babies cost around $35 (I don't know for that one) and work pretty well.
