Using the would yield your answer.
It was pulled for violating ToS. Something about promoting commercial hardware.
Ask Zip-Lock.

What I don't get is how the thread was able to stick around to become as large as it became despite violating ToS.

Why wasn't it yanked a lot sooner?

You never found that link, did you? Why? It's hard to find in the NavBar across the top of the forums, amongst a lot of other crap.

TELL MP3CAR YOU WANT A LINK TO THE FAQ IN A MORE OBVIOUS, NOTICABLE LOCATION HERE.

I did search, for "vidi", "motorized in-dash", as well as looking through all the threads for one with 30+ pages. Just didn't search for "vicci". Haven't been here for ages so only just noticed it missing.

I guess this project will fall into a black-hole then...

I'm sure the project will continue, last time i looked at that thread they had a pretty fair amount of progress and I doubt anuone would put that much time into a business venture and bail out before the final conception or before any returns could be had. Rules are rules. This isn't a place for free press/advertising. Vicci just needs to talk to the admins about advertising here and or possibly getting some units in the mp3car store.
