Lilliput software help???

I just got my Lilliput 7" TS (noob) but I can't seem to be able to install. When I tried to install the software XP hangs/freezes up at the end of the install. I looked around the forums and tried to update XP and get the drivers from digitalWW. But nothing. I get an image on the screen but I cant get the TS to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW I am running the screen on my Toshiba laptop w/ XP home right now...if that helps.

You probably have a com port conflict, try removing other devices that use a com port and then install the t/s first particularly remove any bluetooth devices often the bluetooth devices conflict with the ts

Completely remove everything that you have installed....delete all the files you have put on there and then go download and install the latest touchkit from this site.

Wow I had the same problem...
Im no expert but this worked for me...

Like it was already said. Remove ever thing including the drivers you also probably installed.

Turn the Puter off

Then hook up just the vga cord to the PC...

Boot it up

Using the software form the link provided in the other thread run just the Setup .exe

Towards the end when it searches com ports.. it took forever. Give it time.
Get a beer or something. (every one knows it waits untill your not looking to finish up...

)

Hit ok and all stuff

The program loaded and you plug in the touchscreen/
Install the driver from the same folder I chose the last one.

And it worked.

Thanks guys I got it working now

But.... one problem, I can't seem to play DVDs through XP's media player. It shows up on the laptop but not on the lilliput. What do you guys suggest? A different player? Or different settings? Anybody have suggestions on good DVD software?
