1 day old lilli....is dead

I bought my 7" touchscreen lilli, brand new on ebay. I received it yesterday and hooked it up to my computer to make sure it works, it worked great, so after a couple of hours of using it, I step out of my room and a friend start looking at screen and picking it up and seeing it while its on, and all of a sudden it just turned off. What the hell is wrong with the screen....?

Any suggestions...?

buy a decent one

Check all cables and connections, try wiggling things around a bit. Make sure both pc and screen ends are connected properly.
Make sure that all warranty stickers are still intact, informing you that it is brand new, and if no luck, get back onto your suppliers.
Its not worth opening it up, its still under guarantee and you should be able to claim it as DOA (Dead on Arrival) unless you have told them otherwise already.

I wouldn't open it to check the fuse. If it's a good seller, send it back. This is why I tell everyone to get it from the mp3car.com store. If the fuse blew before it even went into the car, something must be really wrong with it.
