epia M mobo, video driver problems

I setup an in car pc yesterday, and it loaded up fine to 640x480 with 16 colors, then i put in the 4-1 drivers to update everything, and i restart and i get no signal to the screen. Im assuming the resolution is to high or the RCA output is not activated after than update. What can i do to prevent this?

10 mins ago I updated my M mobo BIOS and rebooted and same thing happened to me. No screen at all.

Worst case scenario would be my BIOS chip would need to be replaced I guess.

I used the 4-in-1 drivers too.

Did you update your BIOS also?
I got the bios from these forums. It was called 'test.bin'. I also saved my old BIOS but I dont see how that could do any good if i cant get into the pc at all.

I was able to get it working again. I took out the mobo battery and let it sit, then i plugged it back in and it worked.

There are options in the Bios for the type of display you are using (ie. CRT and LCD). It may be set wrong. You can try resetting the BIOS as suggested above, or you can try hooking up a regular CRT (normal monitor). Once you're in the bios you can check to see what the default settings for the monitor is and change it accordingly.

yea it seems like the only way to do this is to update drivers, plug in another monitor to make proper settings for the lcd. So much trouble, but o well, im just happy the thing runs without any problems
