Xenarc Alignment Problem
I've got the Xenarc TS and often during boot, the screen shifts right about 50%. It'll flash normally aligned at 800x600 (the Windows setting), but then it'll shift right almost immediately upon boot and say something like 720x480. I don't know what is causing it, I've set my horizontal adjustment on the screen to 50. Mind you, it doesn't do it 100% of the time, just often enough that it's annoying. Reboots don't seem to help, it's unpredictable. Sometimes, reset of power (unplug) on screen helps.
Running the screen off battery 12V (unregulated), and computer off my extra AGM battery via inverter. There's an isolator between the 2 batteries. I also have a 6' VGA extension hooking to the carputer.
Bad cable? I've tried shaking the connections, seems solid. Need regulated supply? Again, intermittent problem, so I don't think it's either. Difference between voltages on the batteries? Maybe...
Hey, what res are you guys running at? I'm at 800x600 and run either Media Engine, MediaCar, or FrodoPlayer right now, but am testing out various other options.
Thanks in advance.
-Ed

I've seen the other relevant threads I've seen on this...
Mine has a similar problem but auto-resize doesnt go to the correct position, always going to the same WRONG position!
This is an intermittent problem, and it seems that if I wiggle the connection for VGA/touch and/or turn the xenarc off/on it will then auto-size correctly...
Any ideas for this? it really ****es me off, even though it only happens about 2x/week

I had that problem with my crt as well.... and the Epia Motherboard.
I went into the bios and checked the settings for display type. I made sure it was set for the right type of monitor. That fixed it.
If you are using the LCD, try changing that and setting the right resolution....
Good Luck and let us know.

This is old thread but I've been having this issue from time to time since installation in September. Now it's just getting to me because it seems to happen more when someone is like "HEY SHOW ME YOUR CARPC"; I show them and bang shift to the right; then I struggle to explain that it's a computer and I use the remote to auto adjust it back into alignment .
Has anyone found a permanent fix for this? I run it at 800x600 as my default and I have the Epia 12k motherboard.
Thanks,
Chuck

I've got this same problem - has anyone found a fix yet?
I can set it correctly using the AutoDetect feature on the Xenarc onscreen menu, but the problem with that is that my buttons are hidden by my bezel - so at this point my bezel is just loosly on since I have to take it off every time I need to reset my screen.
I'm running a MII12k with onboard video (i.e. not native res).
Does anyone know if this still happens when using an external video card at native resolution?

Same problem here, ~2 year old xenarc 700tsv, only seems to happen on reboot, I can hibernate as many times as I want.
