Lilliput overrange through BIOS then fine?

Is this normal?

I set the BIOS res to 800*600 and the type to LCD, now I get 'Overrange' through the post until XP starts up, then I get an image.

I guess it works, but if I ever need to get into the BIOS, I'll need to pull the MB battery to reset it.

I get the same thing only it usually happens between the BIOS and the XP login screen. Ocassionally it occurs all the way through the BIOS until the login screen. I've tried pretty much every BIOS settings with no apparent impact.

same here, i get the over range screen usually when switching from bios to xp boot.
I also get the overrage screen in windows when i change resolutions quickly. like when i try a resolution and then revert to the previous one in a matter of seconds.
