auto on with power on

i have just about finished my install .
the only thing is that in order to have my screen to come on is to use the remote. this is due to the fact i can not get to my buttons . i have XENARC 1040VT™ 10.4" TFT LCD TV / Monitor and dont see any option for this in the manual or OSD. any help would be great

I am planning to get the 1040VT as well. Did you take the LCd out of it's casing ? I am planning to mold the screen into my dash but the 1040VT with the case is a bit too big to fit my dash and I coudln't find any info on the size without the casing. If you have the info please kindly pass it to me so I could start on my project ! Have you tried hooking up the screen yet ? How's the picture quality ?

Hope you can help me out !
Thanks,
Clement

actuly your setup is very close to mine -- xpc 1040vt xmpcr windows media center eddition.
yes had to take it out of the case.
got a touch kit from dww works great!!
be very careful of the IR sensor. wire come off of the circut board very easiely.
when you take it out of the case very hard to get TV turner to remount
i gave up and just used the tuner from the video card. i see if i cand send you some pics on saturday. send me your email so i can send them to you.

my e-mail is lookinco@shaw.ca . If you can get me the dimension of the LCD without the case, that would be perfect. Can't wait to see the pics !!!!
Thanks,
Clement

Okay I am sorry. I didn't know about the rule. But it's just a habit as the picture is just part of my signiture in every forum I go to. What exactly is the problem with a picture in the sig tho ? Where can I read about that RULE ?

Anyways, Lawerence I received your pictures and thanks for the dimension. I can finally start my project now. BTW your project look very good too ! Keep up the good work !

Pictures in sigs waste screen space, server storage and bandwidth. Only a little i agree but waste is waste. How about just having a link to pictures held somewhere else? That would allow bigger high resolution images. I for one would like to see your project in more deatail than little thumbnails.

I couldn't find the rule antimatter refered to but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. If its not a rule it should be!
