Mounting Options

Right now I have my monitor mounted on a 24" gooseneck. Its really convenient that you can move it around and all but it shakes when i use the touchscreen. What are some other good mounting ideas if i have no room on my dash? what kind of mount would attach to the side of something and bring the screen around front? if anyone knows the layout of the dash its a GMC Envoy '04

Get a gooseneck with locking nuts, like on the back of the stand that comes with the lilliput, that should stop the shaking. BTW, did you custom make your gooseneck? If not, where did you get it, a gooseneck is what i'm planning on.

ya, I like to know too, I have the "sister" car of the Envoy -Bravada- and like to do the same.
I was thinking about removing the two AC vents on the top of the trimpanel where the HU is but I am not brave enough. I contacted the parts department at my dealer for a replacement trimpanel (would be easier to work on and mold without experiminting with the factory one) but they asked for $200.00 !!! what a rip off, this thing should not cost more than $5, tops. Ok, 20 or even 50 bucks but 200!

This is where I got mine. There are two mounting options:

1) use the little rectangle that will slide into the back of the monitor

2) unscrew that little rectangle thing and screw the monitor right into the gooseneck.

there is also a 19" that they make too but I got the 24 cause the 19 would interfere with the E-Brake. If you want some picks i can show you as well. If anyone has any other mounting options other than custom let me know please. Thanks.
