Lilliput 8" Touchscreen

Hi all

Ive just ordered an 8" lilliput, do these have as many problems as the 7" seems to have?
or are they too new?

Did the silly thing, ordered screen then read all the threads about dodgy ones!

Someone said on here that most 7" lcds are second hand, then stripped and recased, is this true? And is it the case for 8" lcds too?

Any help appreciated

I just recieved my 8in from Ziplock a few weeks ago. It works great. It's even brighter that my old Xenarc. So far I have I just have one nit to pic, (sorry) I have to fiddle around with the on/off button when I use it, it seems to want to turn off on its own. It turns on after I press the power button tho, - yup, I haven't read the manual yet. The Monitor is brand spanking new. The packaging is first class. I think the repackaged ones are (I hope) just the 7in ones.

I wonder if this claim has ever been verified. Isn't it illegal to repackage used items and then sell them as new items? I thought and item would have to branded as used or refurbished if they are not new.

Well I don't think it's clear if all or only part of the item has to be new. Just like the ol' assembled in America bit.
