LCD Screen,

Hi, I tried looking for the answer all over but couldn't find it, so lets hope someone has any idea...

I would like to take apart my iPAQ and connect a bigger screen, so basically I have two questions,

First is about the Digitizer (the touch screen), is it universal? I mean if I wanna take the digitizer from my Xenarc screen and connect it to my iPAQ will it work?? (they both have 4 wire cable out).

Second, about the LCD TFT, also more or less the same, will it work if I connect the output directly to the screen output of the iPAQ? or do I need to know the volts of the signals to match the screens, or HOW?! I'm open for any Ideas about how to connect the screen, because I think this will be more difficult than the digitizer.

Any input will be appreciated,

IMHO, I don't think you stand much chance, especially with the screen itself.

Even if the pinout was the same, you'd have to make sure the resolution was the same also. You can't just connect a bigger screen and expect to magically have more resolution or anything like that. Where's your frame buffer going to come from for one thing? And are you planning on re-writing the OS for the bigger screen?
