seems like a really good site... awesom to see newbies posting good info on their first post instead of asking dumb questions!

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but aren't lilliputs VGA also? S- or XGA in a 6 to 7" package would be very nice, but I really havn't seen many of those around.

edit: typo

yes, but they are wide I think... I'm pretty sure the native resolution of a lilliput is 848x480.

ok, ya, so I just looked and I see some conflicting info, but they definitely are 16:9 ratio, and looks like 800 x 480 or 848x 480... I've seen 2400 x 480, but that just made me laugh... they are calling it xga I think. Somebody can correct me that knows better, I don't feel like digging in the garage for the box and crap.

But, in any event... 640 x 480 would mush up my 848x480 stuff.

Oh yeah <slap>. 800x480, and all the people trying to get the VIA boards to output it. How could I forget?

The "2400x480" refers to the RGB sub-pixels seperately (800x3x480). While there is a certain amount of truth to it, it's mainly a stupid ploy to mislead people on resolution.

ya, I kinda figured thats what they were doing. Cause they also put something else at like 800,000 or something.. I think it was the total pixal count including each rgb pixle or something stupid like that. But they were stating it was the resolution or something.

So still nobody wants to admit to having a lilliput upgraded by these guys.... dang!
