rear view camera

ok im still trying to plan my carpc. i want to hook up a rear view camera but i dont know how to go about doing this. im going to buy this monitor http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...723285202&rd=1 and hook it up using the s-video jack. and im going to use http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6710157803 motherboard. and i will use this rare view camera http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...723152562&rd=1. can someone please help and give me some info?...ty and before u say search i ALREADY did and found no info i looked at 93 posts here u can look 2 if ya want http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/sear...2&pp=25&page=1

my question was how do u hook up your rear view camera using the car pc. ur reply didnt answer that question.

if you are using that monitor, im assuming your going to use a video out on the motherboard. if this is the case, you may need another video card that has a video input, input the video, and then display it using your computer. simple as that. other option is to get a splitter, and have a switch so you can either see the pc screen, or whatever is on the rear view. hope that makes sense. -Ryan

Read the product manual, either before or after you buy it, I would recomend before. That is what documentation is for.

I would think the video signal from the camera (you should know type you want) will connect to the video in on the PC and display the picture on the monitor you are planning on using. This may mean a video capture card will be needed.

Is that better? Can I have my spoon back now?
