Lilliput Touchscreen Problem

Hope someone can help me.

When I bought my lliliput and installed it in my car, my touchscreen was working fine. However, someday it stopped working. If I disconnect my USB touchscreen cable and connect it back on, it does detect it and it allows me to install the driver and software. However, it doesn't work at all. What is causing this? I have uninstall and install windows several times but same problem. I have tried connecting it directly to another computer but had the same problem.

Armen, if you could help me out it will be very nice. Could you think of what's causing this?

My touchscreen USB is connected thru a USB self powered Hub, but what doesn't make sense is that I did try it on my laptop so I dont think it is the HUB.

Hey man, I had a similair problem. Try using system restore, (I know, i know), to restore to time when your TS works. Worked for me, YMMV.

I too have this problem with my Lilliput screen (worked ok for a while then stopped working just like that).
I sent it back for repair/replacement under warranty. I'll get it back any day now.
But the question remains: will it eventually do this again, and will my warranty still be valid when/if that happens?

Okay you guys.... gotta learn to search. This is the last time i rewrite this.

First thind to check is the din cable coming out of the back of the lilliput. Make sure that all the pins are straight. They bend easily. If one of the touches another pin or grounds out your screen wont work. (this happened to me)

Second off Your USB controller is detected so that means that the controller is fine. So that leaves the Touch Pannel. It is common for these to go out. I think it has something to do with heat. Anyways you may need a replacement pannel although i would check all cableing and all connections and all pins before i flipped out and replaced the pannel and then replaced the usb controller and have it still not work (that is what i did only to find it it was a friggen bent pin....grrr 2 hours down the drain, good thing i had extra lilliput parts sitting around )

the blurred is simply because the 9 pin "mini-din" adaptor thing blows. You'll just have to finick with it, or find a wiring pinout, chop off the connectors, and use like serial cable ends to make a better connector. Try searching for some of the things mentinoned in my post, there will be plenty of info.

Lilli touchscreens blow co-k. What I did for my indash conversion is add 4 new wires off an ide cable to "beef" it up. So far it's been working perfectly.
