8" Lilliput Touchscreen Info

Hi there! I have been looking into getting the 7" Lilliput like everyone else has. I took the dimesions of this 7" screen (LCD only) and compared them to my console where it's going to go. I think I can fit an 8" unit in there - but... Does anyone have the dimesions for the 8" Lilliput touchscreen? I would like to compare these two sizes before I buy and bondo, then decide I want bigger. Thanks!

PS: I tried the feature, but I couldn't find anything regaurding the 8" screen dimesions like I need.

Hi RPI. I did look at that page, but it only shows the "Overall Dimesions"... I was trying to find out if anyone had the dimensions on the LCD itself. I have seen a picture (on this board I believe) of a 7" LCD with dimensions written out next to it. I simply need the dimensions for the 8" model. Thanks! -BW

Digitallww - Do you sell the panel by itself, or at least with the board?
I don't need the surround, and am wondering where else I can get it.
BTW, is the native 800, or 1024?
I have seen both
Thanks

I don't.

You can buy the whole monitor, get what you need and sell the rest. I am sure somebody needs that housing.

Native resolution on the one I sell is 800x600. Some of these come with a Sharp LCD panel that is 640x480.

800x600 looks much better.

Speaking about different specs on that monitor, does it support auto power on? Or do you have to do a mod?

i'll give you $25 for the housing if you're still interested in getting the screen and getting rid of the housing.
