You guys!

Weve all seen those screens on ebay there cheap chinise prices just jump out at you and say BUY ME BUY ME!! i know ive been there and nearly brought one or two of them myself but the fact of the matter us there useless for car pc use, for films and games they mite just suffice, for text and gps and reading anything useful there just plain old useless save your money and buy a xenarc or a lilliput if you want soemthing a bit cheaper (crapper less reliable)
if these screens are intended for nothin more than a little bit of dvd playback or game playin then let us know how well they look

Hrmm, yes, i did know that they are RGB input only (which sucks for text etc) but it will be enough for now to get my carpc off the ground and into my car! If it sucks so so bad, then i may just say fk it and sell it on, THEN buy a Lilli or xenarc. but thanks for your advice.

Anyone else notice that they look ALOT like rebranded lilliputs? and for US$310! That's alot to pay for a lilliput.

gps prog. on composite screen, fairly usable. I'm not getting a lilliput an epia or an opus, deal with it. (yes I'm a tight ***)

The normal cheap TFT screens would be excellent for use displaying video to backseat passengers (kids etc.) when on long journeys - using the TV output of the mobo to display only video so that the driver can have the satellite navigation software running up front?

I'm intending on buying 2 of these to try it out and see how it goes

Cheers,

Andy

While I agree that some americans think its cool to have their head up their ***-my guess is that the two Canadians that posted the messages might feel that their country's citizens are not getting the recognition they deserve for having a cool head up their ***.
