LVDS is a digital signaling standard use commonly in industrial PCs to communicate between the onboard controller and the LCD controller.
It's similar to DVI in it's intend, ie keeping the path digital and thus eliminate the problem with V-sync and phase problem u see in using analogue controller for LCD.
VIA sells 3 daughter board for the EPIAs: TTL, RBG & LVDS
