Can't calibrate lilliput touch screen

My lilliput screen just arrived
Nice to see that is displays 800x600 very readable (i was a little worried about that)
Installation went without problems, but i can't calibrate

This is what happens:
When choosing the 4 point calibration method, the following screen is displayed:
[correction mode]
Mainly a white screen and a blinking cross in the lower left corner
(link wasn't working properly.)
[/correction mode]
The red cross is blinking.
When i click the red cross (using the touch screen ofcourse), the blinking red cross stays at the same position, still blinking and the yellow time bar starts again from zero. No matter how many times i click the blinking red cross, nothing changes.
When i wait for the yellow time bar to complete, i get the message:
"4 point calibration failed. Calibrate again?"

I've tried the 25 point calibration, in this test there are 25 red crosses displayed, but the blinking one isn't a cross, but "moving" circles. The behaviour is exactly the same.

I have Touchkit ("Touch Panel Controller Utility") version 3.1.4.1830
Is there a new version? (if yes, where can i find it?)

How can I solve this problem

You need to press and hold the flashing cross until you hear a beep, then the next calibration point will show up.

WOW
IT WORKS, thanks! Nobody told me to _HOLD DOWN_ the stylus on the cross!
Last 20 minutes i spend searching for newer drivers, and found a link to them in a review:
http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews/lilliput/index.php

The link to the drivers:
http://www.egalax.com.tw/Download.htm

I installed TouchKit 4.0.0.11.3 (beta) and the driver file (xtouch.sys) which goes with the package. Just found out that this version had the same behaviour.

Maybe my english wasn't that good that i got it right the first time..
thanks curly cat!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a newbie that knows the value of the search function. A simple search results in a two-year old thread having the answer he/she needed.

Glad to know that you got your problem solved.

thanks

I was having the same problem. I just installed my Lilliput this weekend and had to use my FrontRow remote with my MacBook Pro. I can now use the touch screen! Thanks for the help.

Jesus Christ, that was all i had to do!!!!! I looked @ every manual and nothing worked. I've been stuck on this forever! THANK YOU LORD JESUS and whoever figured this out. This is the kind of problem you get when you hire a lazy a$$ to write your product manuals!!!!

On my version of the drivers the page right before the calibration thing says click and hold until the beep. So is it just a matter of not reading the directions, or do I have some magical version of Touchkit?
