Lilliput indash conversion help.
So I took the plunge and decided to mount my lilli in Armen's in dash housing. All went well I thought. When I power it on now, I see the No Signal. Then when I turn on my carputer, the monitor flashes No Signal then turns off and then back on, No Signal, then back off. I never see Windows or anything else. I have checked the wires and ribbon cable many times already. Searched the threads but there is so much broken lilli stuff that it's driving me nuts trying to find anything usefull in there. I can't read another one of those threads. Basically I am looking for suggestions. If I can see the No Signal, doesn't that mean the ribbon is in correctly? Just want to know anything else I should be checking.

I wasn't whining, it's just that I get very few weekends off or have any free time at all actually so I wanted help ASAP.

I have emailed Armen. Still waiting for his reply. I am sure he has seen this before but I know he is busy so I don't expect a response anytime soon. Guess I'll have to wait since until I have some more time to work on this.

If you are getting the NO signal message then the ribbon cable is fine. How did you wire the VGA cable? Can you take a picture of the VGA controller? Are your video inputs working?
Let me know.
Armen

These wire that you have on the picture - is this the actual VGA cable or is it still the short cable with the din connector?

Okay, now I feel retarded. I looked at the picture when I wired this up. Now that I am looking at your wire chart, I realize that I have pins 2 and 4 reversed. Time to do some resoldering. I will post back in about 10 minutes to let you know the results.
Edit: This is the short cable with the din connector. Very short I might add. Mine is maybe 7 inches long but i figured I could make it work. Would I be better off cutting the end off of the long cable and using those wires?

That was it. Everything works now. Monitor and touchscreen. Thanks for the help Armen. Now I just have to figure out the best way to mount this in my dash. My weekend was not a total loss.

That is what I do - just use the main vga/touch cable. Cut the connector and splice the wires. If you are going to this then you need to follow the following order:
VGA connection - Left to Right
Black (shield)
Blue
Green
Purple
Brown
Orange/Grey (which ever one you have)
